Your home in downtown New York
There’s a lot of things to love about Robert DeNiro’s Greenwich Hotel. For one, you’re in Tribeca, one of New York’s most liveable quarters and bastions of fine taste. Then, there’s the homely atmosphere of the hotel, intimately connected with the neighbourhood and with a level of discretion made with Hollywood stars in mind. Finally the, piece de resistance, the Shibui Spa, a 250 year old bamboo farmhouse imported from Japan (yes, you read that right) which now houses the hotel’s spa and pool. You’ll forget that Manhattan even exists while you’re swimming in these waters.

The hotel was in a fabulous area easily accessible to where we wanted to spend our 36th wedding anniversary. A memorable place highlight in a memorable occasion.

Overall, we had a great experience. Fantastic staff who were very helpful and courteous. Bed and pillows were great. Bathroom was beautiful marble and tiles. Some soft furnishings in the hotel really do need to be freshened up. Room service was excellent. The young man who checked us in/out was superb. He really seemed to care, as did all the staff actually.
