    Everything has been very nice and the staff has been friendly and efficient. The decoration of the public spaces is beautiful and cosy. The food service is great and all the servers are friendly and knowledgeable. The Reception and the Concierge team have been especially wonderful. The Porters are also extremely helpful and always with a big smile. Unfortunately, the candle smell in all the public spaces is overwhelming and smells like dead flowers-my only complaint. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

    The changes that have been made to the ground floor public spaces are fabulous - The Lowell has always been a favorite NYC hotel, but always seemed to lack good public rooms - with the new bar, "library" and the re-done restaurant it is now one of our absolute favorite hotels worldwide. Congratulations on a job well done!

    We really enjoyed the ambience and quietness of the hotel -- it was exceptional across the whole the hotel and definitely one of the better hotels we have stayed in around the world ........ and we travel extensively staying at top level hotels and consider ourselves "tough" judges!! It had every comfort and convenience and many little extras -- like the homemade jam at breakfast. We could not have wished for more. We felt very comfortable and at home in the hotel ....... clearly our style of hotel. Well done to everyone involved.
