I loved it! My room view was of the park and the White House. Beautiful. The restaurant service was impeccable. The food was delicious. The servers all very professional and friendly. Everyone at the hotel could not have been nicer.
Is it enough to say that I would recommend it to any and all that asked. It may be a little pricey, but the benefits in ALL staff and service are the reason why it is so. I would not hesitate to stay there again and told (familiar to me) staff that I hope to see them sooner rather than later. I will convey this to the GM as well, with some names attached (from front, registration, CONSCIERGES, to dining staff and the bar).
It's our favorite hotel although it's been many years since we were in DC. I was amazing that so many members of the staff recognized us. After the first day, everyone welcomed me by name. Very impressive, very first class, and we can't wait to return! Don
We will be back, we loved this hotel and have always stayed at the Willard before. One suggestion: ice in the room is a problem, we asked for it a few times to ice down our wine. This should have been added to our profile and ice kept in our room at all times during the afternoon. Too much trouble to keep asking. Everything else was wonderful.
