    We really enjoyed our stay at L‘Oscar . Room size and decoration were outstanding but the room was very dark. Next time we would ask for a room with more daylight to feel even more comfortable.

    This was an absolute find - a lovely hotel AND this hotel know how to make a pot of tea - the cups were even warmed in my Room Service tray! I woke at 3.30 am & ordered a trat soon after & the staff member even brought the tray with a thermos jus of hot water as he guessed that I would want more than 1 pot of tea - How did he know! Also the slippers put out were my size exactly. And the Shampoo etc - absolutely beautiful - I bought some to take home with me. I was unable to have breakfast as I had to go out for a meeting , but on next visit I definitely will. My supper the night before in the downstairs bistro was just what I needed after a long flight & a busy day. A truly lovely hotel. Virginia

L’Oscar London sits at 2-6 Southampton Row, Holborn, near many of London’s cultural attractions, like the 5-minute ride to The British Museum, and 10-minute commute to The Cartoon Museum. The hotel is about 70 minutes from Heathrow Airport by car, and 90 minutes from Gatwick Airport.

Check-in is at 3 P.M.; Check-out is at 12 P.M.

L’Oscar has paid valet service to park your car at a nearby NCP (National Car Parks). Reservations are required.

The entry-level room is the Superior Bedroom, with 17 to 25m² of space and a design by Jacques Garcia. The rooms come with either a Super King or Queen size bed, and a unique selection of art and craft artwork, as well as a full working desk. The signature suite of the hotel is the L’Oscar Suite, which comes at 65m². The large lounge area features a sofa and coffee table, a large desk and a unique marble and mirrored bathroom, with a walk-in shower and a freestanding bathtub.

The hotel has 1 restaurant, 1 bar and 1 lounge. L’Oscar Restaurant is modeled after the oldest café in Venice and serves a menu of comfort food. The Baptist Bar is an elegant setting of warm lights and velvety sofas for those late-night conversations and cocktails. The Blue Tree Yard is a quiet, green corner, right next to the Baptist Bar, where guests may retire to enjoy a cigar and a wide selection of spirits.
