The Hotel Imperial, the former home of the Prince of Wurttemberg, is palatial in every way, as its name suggests. Since it was intended as the residence of Austrian aristocracy, every guest room and suite comes with original and grandiose designs. Here chandeliers and reproduction antiques and paintings help guests step back in time to the glory of Austria’s imperial years. Its location, right next to the Musikverein, the Kunsthistorisches Museum, and Hofburg make it the perfect HQ from which to immerse yourself into Austria’s culture. For the icing on the cake - quite literally - head to the Café Imperial and sink your fork into some of the best seasonal Viennese dishes you’ll find in the city.
