The hotel at a glance
Four Seasons comes to London with the class and prestige it’s known for and adds another jewel to the English crown.
The Four Seasons on Park lane is one of the best hotels in London if you’re looking for a distinct modern feel to your accommodation. Where other hotels lean heavily on the classic British look, Four Season’s used it as a launchpad for designer Pierre Yves Rochon to express himself and the result is sleek and contemporary without letting you forget that you’re in the English capital. If you have any doubts though, all you have to do is look out the window for some of the best views over Hyde Park and even if your eyes are met by typical English weather, what’s inside is more than enough to brighten up your day.
The Amaranto, is the hotel’s restaurant bar, and lounge. Divided into three sections (Amaranto Lounge, Amaranto Bar, Amaranto Restaurant) this singular offering is more than enough to delight guests and somehow manages to be lustful, beautiful and relaxing in only one elegant brushstroke.
Of course, if Pierre Yves Rochon has blessed a hotel with his work, you can expect it to be something special and even though he is responsible for the redesign of many 5 stars in the swinging city, his work manages to remain singular with every design. The Four Season’s rooms are all proof of his flair and the designs are refreshingly sober in a city replete with Edwardian and Art Deco, nothing wrong with those of course, but having a more modern option is much welcome. The Presidential and the Blue, are suites that ought to set the standard for designers in the luxury market and are the perfect contemporary answer to the old world grandeur in London’s more classically inclined 5 stars. The spa is located in the hotel’s birds nest and offers a near 360 view of London with floor to ceiling windows and copious amounts of natural light. It’s the perfect place to freshen up before heading out into the London streets and the Four Seasons will provide all the right creature comforts to make your stay in the swinging city extra special.
