Very good. I was surprised to discover gifts in my room each night (bottle of wine and macaroons to apologize for an elevator problem, book about Shanghai and Beijing on the last night).

It is an iconic hotel, a shame the pool is not an outside pool. It is the hotel to visit at least once but other Hotels are catching up and passing the Peninsula.

Excellent quality hotel with professional staff especially on the club level.

An enjoyable stay, however lacked the same personal touches as my last stay. Small things experienced last time were lacking on this stay - e.g. no meet-and-greet at the hotel having used the Rolls Royce transfer; no in-room checkin, inability to accommodate a late checkout request.
