Il Salotto is the newly created lobby - a lighter, refined area of opulence. Be our Guest and enjoy a warm atmosphere in this new and spacious venue, perfect for an aperitif immersed in rich furniture. Precious textiles, carpets, tables and armchairs were designed exclusively for Hotel Principe di Savoia, and hand-made by local artisans.

The refurbishment of the lobby was orchestrated by Thierry Despont, who has acquired an outstanding reputation as a foremost residential designer with an élite clientele in both North America and Europe. The search of a balance between classic and innovative style is expressed in the entrance of the Hotel, where a breathtaking metallic net surrounds the wall leading directly to a theatre style entrance which is the gateway to an unforgettable experience.

To render the ambience more elegant, Thierry Despont places classic paintings, realised by famous painters, such as Luca Giordano, and splendid Murano glass chandelier, which enlighten the ambience, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
